Princess Pillow Crochet Pattern by Sharpin Designs

So Much Hair!

By now you've probably figured out that I LOVE making stuff for my kiddos and nieces. I have one niece - the youngest - that will not be caught in public without her tutu and jewelry. She's a little princess for sure (compared to my T-Rex niece), so I knew I had to create something special for her. She and her family just moved into their first home and I wanted to make something to go on her bed. My goal was to get it to her for Christmas, but I fell behind schedule. Why?

The hair.

So . . . much . . . HAIR!

I think it took me a month to make the hair. Well, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but I did think I'd never feel like I was going to be done.

I *may* have gotten a bit carried away, but I love the effect of all those multi-sized spirals. They are layered and twisted and all sorts of hairy goodness.

See what I mean? I wish I had this much hair.

What you cannot see in the picture in that the pink yarn has some sparkle to it. SWOON! I can see this in Purple, in Blue, In Green . . . I can also see changing up the hair to match your little princess' hair. So many options!
