Lacey Crochet Shrug by Sharpin Designs

Lacey Shrug

I bought a fabulous dress last year right before COVID-19 hit, and it hangs in my closet today with the tags. I decided it's time to pull it out and wear to church for Easter this year. But, it's sleeveless. I FREEZE at church! What's a girl to do?

Well, this girl whipped out her hook and found some FAB-U-LOUS yarn in her stash and got busy.

The yarn is Radiant Petite Madison Layers in Truffles by Prism Yarns. It's a combo of Merino, Cashmere and Silk. It has tones of forest greens with gold sparkles throughout. It was most definitely a splurge purchase a few years back and it's been proudly displayed while waiting on its forever project. It was a dream to work with.

The pattern is by Janet Brooks and can be found on Etsy here. It was a simple pattern that worked up quickly with fantastic results. I did add three extra rounds in the last step as I wanted it a bit longer, but it looks fantastic shorter too. I love how this is constructed. So easy!

What's on your hook today?
