It's a Wrap...Bracelet

Sometimes you just need a funky bracelet that brings a sense of whimsy or "kick butt" to your outfit. I think the wrap bracelets that are so in style right now do just that. I've seen some that are super cute, and I've seen some that look like a warrior princess should be wearing them.

I've made them with leather, beads, cup chain - you name it, but . . . until now . . . I've never crocheted one.

I decided to make a black one for myself and immediately feel in love. Not only was it fun to wear, it was really comfortable. Since I used 100% cotton thread, it had a nice stretch and also breathed well. And, bonus, they are a snap to clean up with a simple wash in the sink with soap and water - just lay flat to dry.

Of course, I had to make several in different colors. It was a lot of fun to go into my button and charm stash too. Here are the pictures. Enjoy!
