2019 DFW Fiber Fest Recap
2019 was our first time at #DFWFiberFest as a vendor. I've been attending (and purchasing) for years, but this year I decided to give it a go as a vendor. It was WONDERFUL! Not only did I get to drool over amazing yarns, get inspired by tons of projects and samples, get overwhelmed by all the bag choices; I also got to talk to a lot of amazing people throughout the three day show. There's nothing better than getting a bunch of excited, creative energy in the same place at the same time.
The vendors at this show are amazing too. I've done shows before where no one hardly speaks to each other, so I kind of stand out as the goofy lady. That was not the case at this show. It was so inviting and everyone was so willing to help each other. In fact, another vendor stopped by my booth and recommended I put all my yarn together as it would pull more people in. I did as she suggested, and it worked! This also gave me more space to hang up the samples that friends of mine made.
I plan to make some more modifications for the next show (East Texas Fiber Festival in November!), to make it even better. Of course, there will be MORE YARN!
Oh, and I must share what I bought! I did TRY to be good.
Happy Shopping!
