Nature's Walk Afghan
I first saw this afghan live and in person late last year when it was on loan to my LYS. I knew then I had to make one - especially since is uses Scheepjes yarn. There's something very soothing about creating squares and then arranging them to make a completed piece. This was not exception. The squares were challenging and interesting to keep you from getting bored. The feel of the yarn and the colors of the yarn were fantastic to work with.
The border on this one is much more intricate that other afghans I've done, and I love it. I actually didn't do it correctly and had to adjust a bit on the fly, but it still turned out great and I'm very pleased with it.
The pattern is by Sandra Paul at Cherry Heart and is available for free on Raverly. When I last checked, she had three color ways designed and was working on a couple more.
