Creepy Patterns - Two New are FREE!
Halloween is in my top three favorite holidays and I LOVE to decorate and crochet each year for it. Every year I add a bit more to my decor. In fact, my obsession with designing crochet patterns began with the Pumpkin Jack pillow pattern. It's still one of my favorites because it's reversible - Halloween on one side and Thanksgiving on the other.
After creating Pumpkin Jack, I was hooked (see what I did there?) and went on to create several more pillows. All of these patterns are available on this site, Etsy, and Ravelry. These work up quickly and will last through several years of washings and butt abuse.
This year I decided to make some coasters and hot pads. I started with spiders and then decided I needed a cat too. Both of these patterns are FREE and are available on this site and in my Ravelry shop. They work up very quickly and are a great way to use up leftover yarn. The spider coaster only takes 25 grams of cotton yarn. The spider and cat hot pads require 50 grams. I think I may need to make the cat in other colors - like orange and lime green . . .
I hope you have as much fun crocheting for the holidays as I do. There's nothing better than snuggling up with a good crochet project as the weather turns cooler.
Happy Hooking!
